What's New
Every Atlas build, in plain language. No marketing spin, just what changed and when.
Release history
Newest first. Firm dates come straight from the real build artifacts; a few intermediate versions from early June shipped inside surrounding builds, so those carry an approximate date rather than a made-up one.
Fixed a case where Atlas could refuse to open with an “elevation required” error — it no longer asks for administrator rights just to start, and only requests them for the specific tools that genuinely need them. A new launcher now shows your activation and version status before the app starts, with one-click Repair and Uninstall, so a licensing or update issue is something you can see and fix instead of a silent failure. Also includes a first macOS test build.
A dropped connection or an unreachable server no longer locks you out — an approved machine stays approved for up to three days offline. Atlas also offers to set a Windows restore point after a scan, and the stray console windows that used to flash past while it did are gone.
More reliable license verification with signed requests, plus a graceful "please wait" queue so activation stays calm when the server is busy.
Real file-explorer-style windows inside Workbench, and right-click → Properties on any file.
Removing an app now also clears the wider system footprint a normal uninstall leaves behind.
Your settings and data migrate forward automatically across updates. No resets, no lost preferences when you upgrade.
An onboarding step that learns your storage layout, so categories and suggestions fit your actual machine.
Set your own image behind the disk-map dashboard.
A slimmer share build and a round of reliability fixes.
The redesigned, multi-tool build of Atlas Intel.
Atlas Intel ships. Local-first disk intelligence for Windows.
